Can you believe that there are only 9 more days until 2015? Our New Year’s Resolution is to share all of Niagara’s year round events because we have so much to celebrate. Our January experiences involve many of the things we love most: wine, sports and our Winter Festival of Lights.
We love Icewine so much in Niagara, that we’ve dedicated three weekends to our passion.
On January 9
th, the cork pops at the Xerox Icewine Gala at the Fallsview Casino, as we celebrate 20 years of Icewine. Taste Icewine from over 35 wineries along with culinary masterpieces.
It’s Jordan’s turn to raise their Icewine glasses from January 9
th – 11
th with the ultimate street party. On opening night, Canadian Country sensation Kira Isabella takes the stage. The rest of the weekend is all about fabulous food, music and wine.

th, purchase a discovery pass and explore the Icewine route starting at $40 per pass.

For the first time, Niagara Falls is thrilled to be part of this delicious experience at the Scotiabank Convention Centre. From January 23
rd – 25
th, enjoy Icewine from 15 participating wineries along with some culinary creations and live entertainment.

2015 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Don’t miss one of the top highlights of the hockey season. The Canadian Hockey League in association with the host, the Niagara IceDogs and BMO Financial are proud to announce the Top Prospects Game on January 22
nd at the New Meridian Centre. Get ready to watch 40 of the top NHL draft eligible players from the Canadian Hockey League compete before passionate hockey fans and hundreds of NHL scouts. Tickets are currently sold out, but this exciting event will be televised on TVA Sports and Sportsnet. The Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls is proud to support this spectacular game.
Niagara Falls Shows
The Skate Niagara Ice Show comes to the Meridian Centre on January 30
th starting at 7:30pm. This inaugural Ice Show features your ice performer favourites, from Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir to Kurt Browning and hometown sweetheart Kristen Moore-Towers with her new partner Michael Marinaro. Plus “flying on ice debut performances” from Mery Acevedo from Argentina and Alfonso Campa from. Get your tickets before this incredible show sells out.
