Here are our favourite Niagara Falls Events in December: Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights - experience 3 Million Twinkling Lights over a 6km route - Every day until January 12th, 2015. Niagara Falls is also getting a dose of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Power starting on Dec. 12th. Four TMNT displays of Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello will be featured at the top of Clifton Hill. Plus experience the nightly illumination of the Falls and the famous fireworks displays (Dec. 19th at 9pm and Dec. 22nd - Dec. 26th at 9pm). This is a Niagara Falls tradition you won’t want to miss. Chicks and Chocolate - Take a break with the girls and experience Peller Estates’ chocolate and wine pairing masterpieces. M-F at 2pm and weekends at 2pm and 4pm. Blue Christmas at the Butterfly Conservatory - Featuring over 500 beautiful Blue Morpho butterflies, plus beautiful floral arrangements that complement this theme. Until January 2, 2015. Shaw Festival Feature Films - Get cultured this holiday season at the Shaw Festival Theatre, producing the works of Bernard Shaw and Shavian playwrights. - Dec. 20th at 3pm - A Most Wanted Man - Dec. 27th at 3pm - Begin Again ET Canada’s New Year’s Eve Niagara Falls - Ring in the New Year at Canada’s largest, televised New Year’s Eve Extravaganza, featuring some of the biggest musicians to hit the Queen Victoria Park Stage: Keith Urban, Nick Jonas, Lights and Shawn Mendes. Plus enjoy two spectacular fireworks displays during the evening. There will also be food and beverage vendors and an outdoor licensed area during the event.
