Family Fun in Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is all about Family Fun. From the too many to count on your fingers,
Niagara Falls attractions to the dozens of
Niagara Falls restaurants, there is never a dull moment.
Here are some of the unforgettable events you cannot miss during March Break:
Swamp Creatures at the Butterfly Conservatory - now until May 11th, swamp creatures will be slithering into the Butterfly Conservatory for this special exhibit. Featuring animal friends from the world’s swamps and wetlands. Plus enjoy over 2000 tropical butterflies floating freely in a rainforest setting.
White Meadows Farms - now until March 30th - get ready for a sugar bush adventure filled with a lesson in Canadian history paired with a taste or two of your favourite Canadian Maple sticky stuff. Plus there is lots of fun stuff along way (face painting, tree tapping, dancing with fiddlers and more). Join White Meadows Farms each weekend for their famous pancake breakfast.
Journey Behind the Falls - this year-round attraction is truly awe-inspiring. How often can you say that you have taken a journey behind the mighty Horseshoe Falls? Here you’ll stand in the mist where the mighty Horseshoe Falls tumbles from 13 storeys above! Get ready to experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down to the basin below.
Let the education continue during the Space Exhibit at the Niagara Falls Museum until April 27th - Stretch out under the stars in a portable planetarium and see a moon rock on loan from NASA that was brought back to Earth from an Apollo mission. While visiting, explore the lunar impact on Niagara Falls and learn a new word. Bonus points go to those who know what a moonbow is.
Your kids will also enjoy the various March Break activities at the Niagara Falls Museum. Start the morning with a rocket launching BLAST at the Space Show (11am) then in the afternoon get ready for bubbling potions and chemical reactions at the Fire & Ice Show (1pm). Continue the fun with a scavenger hunt, then finish the day off with a movie at 3pm. Plus there will be crafts all day long. It’s fun all week long. NOTE: March 12 ONLY - Solar Viewing with Astronomer Dr. Brian Pihack from 11am -3pm
