Wild Ontario, is one of the most incredible, limited time, Niagara Falls Attractions. This exciting exhibit at the Butterfly Conservatory highlights the incredible biodiversity we have in our province, featuring a variety of species both common and at risk in our communities. Learn why some species may do well around people while others are at risk.
It’s also an exciting chance to experience the 5 most well-known classes of animals: mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, fish and invertebrate. You will see a barn owl, American kestrel, porcupine, skunk, wood turtle, spotted turtle, common toad, grey tree frog, yellow spotted salamander, black rat snake, garter snake and gar pike.
In addition to the live animal exhibit, panel displays focus on other Ontario species including those at risk, major ecosystems, and what people in Ontario and around the world can do to assist species in their communities and their own backyards.
Plus it’s just a short drive from the Courtyard Marriott Niagara Falls Hotel.
