Get Artsy at Artpark

Get Artsy at Artpark

It’s time to “Get Artsy at Artpark.” If you haven’t experienced Artpark before, you are definitely missing out on some entertaining events. The name “Artpark” says it all. There are some incredible “artsy” events in a breathtaking outdoor “park”. Artpark is located in Lewiston, New York (which is just a short drive across the Lewiston Bridge – 23 minutes from the Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls hotel, to be exact).

Here are some newsworthy “Tuesday in the Park” Artpark Amphitheater events just announced:

The Band Perry - July 5th - starting at 6:30pm

Grammy® Award-winning sibling trio The Band Perry have proven an unstoppable presence in music, matching their major critical acclaim with massive mainstream success.

Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals - July 12th - starting at 7:15pm

It had been seven years since Ben Harper last played a show with the Innocent Criminals, so when the time came to reunite for a live tour in 2015, the band percussionist Leon Mobley, bassist Juan Nelson, drummer Oliver Charles, keyboardist Jason Yates, and guitarist Michael Ward quickly discovered that Harper had more in mind than simply revisiting the group’s prodigious collection of hits. Come and discover what Harper had in mind.

Ben Folds with yMusic - July 13th - starting at 6:30pm

The rest of the 2016 schedule for “Tuesday in the Park” will be announced along with “Coors Light Wednesdays,” “Music in the Woods,” “Fairy House Festival” and “FREE Family Saturdays.” Check back soon for those announcements.

If you’re a BIG fan of Artpark and their incredible concerts, you can purchase a Season Package for all 12 concerts starting at $125.00.

Looking for a place to rest your head after all of this amazing artsy fun?. The Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls is just a short drive away. Check out our Niagara Falls Packages or sign up for our monthly newsletter and stay in touch with the latest special offers.

Things to do in Niagara Falls with your Love

Things to do in Niagara Falls with your Love

With the big romantic Hallmark day just around the corner, there is always the question of what to do with your love. And often times that can be A LOT of pressure for one day. While we are big supporters of showing the one you love you appreciate and adore them, our belief is you don’t have to dedicate one day of the year to show them. So rather than focusing on one day, we are calling the whole month of February - the month of LOVE. Plus if you live in Canada, we certainly need something to celebrate in February, because let’s be honest with ourselves, we’re all silently (or maybe loudly) counting down to Spring.

Here are all the fabulous romantic things to do in Niagara Falls with your favourite someone:

For the Love of Music

There are a lot of Niagara Falls Concerts for all music enthusiasts happening on both sides of the border.

Get ready for a truly unique, Canadian experience this winter and snowshoe or hike through Thirty Bench’s Riesling vineyards! A local Snowshoe expert will teach you tips and best trekking methods while their wine consultant guides you through samples of Thirty Bench wines amongst the snow covered vines. Afterwards, enjoy a warm cup of soup from The Good Earth, while sitting outside by the fire. $30 per guest, exclusive of taxes. Includes snowshoes, guided trek, wine tastings, and a Thirty Bench souvenir GoVino glass to take home, as well as a warm cup of soup from The Good Earth.

Chicks and Chocolate – Peller Estates Winery

Spend an afternoon with the chicks that you love in your life. From Monday – Friday at 2pm and weekends at 2pm and 4pm, visit Peller Estates Winery for wine and chocolate pairings. Plus learn how the two in combination complement each other and can awaken your senses (the educational aspect and the antioxidants from the chocolate (if dark) and wine will make you feel good).

For the Love of Food – Niagara Falls Restaurants

For all the steak and seafood lovers out there, come and celebrate the month of love at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, located in the lobby of the Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls. Start with some shareable appetizers, such as Mushrooms Neptune or the Baked Brie. For the main course, you can never go wrong with the Keg classics: Prime Rib, Top Sirloin or a Filet Mignon (this is making me hungry just writing about it). End your romantic evening with their famous Billy Miner pie, crème brulée or sweet minis (a fudge brownie and mango brulée) and be sure to ask for two spoons.

For the Love of Sleep

Nothing is more romantic than getting away for a few days. The Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls has a few sweet Niagara Falls Romance Package Deals right now. Our favourite is the Ultimate One Night Romance Package starting at $119 per night which includes: accommodations, breakfast buffet, dinner voucher for The Keg or T.G.I.
