What’s Happening in Niagara Falls this Weekend
The countdown to Halloween begins…Here are some of our Favourite Things to do In Niagara Falls For Halloween…
Don’t miss two days of frightening good fun with appearances from some of your favourite horror film characters from Gremlins, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Chucky, Texasaw Chainsaw Massacre, and Cujo. Plus a jam-packed workshop schedule.
Come and spend an evening visiting one of the most historic cemeteries in Canada. It promises to be an evening of fright, history and fun, as you’re given a glimpse into the lives of people from our City’s history.
Experience a chilling historical ghost tour where you’ll tour the eerie grounds and barracks of Canada’s bloodiest battlefield by torch and candlelight and learn about some of the most frightening stories in Old Fort Erie: Captain Kingsley and the famous “No Heads, No Hands” story (to name a few)…Plus the annual burning of a Guy Fawkes Effigy…
It’s a Howling Good Time at Howells – Daily until Halloween
This is a place that screams or in this case “howls” fun for kids. From the haunted spook barn, to the corny cobb maze and the train-o-saurus rex ride (plus so much in between – like picking your perfect pumpkin and snacking on their famous pumpkin donuts), it definitely is a Howling Good Time at Howells.
If being spooked is your thing – you have to check out Haunt Manor (I’ve heard from a friend that it’s pretty scary – this friend is a very reliable source). Firstly it has a pretty haunting past. Just west of the historic Battle of Lundy’s Lane historic graveyard where the bloodiest battle in history took place in 1812, the 220 year old farm still remains where two soldiers resided and died during the war, the Pew family. To this day reports of their appearances are still happening, including the mother and two children in the attic (sound scary enough for you?). From the famous haunted hayride to seven themed haunted houses to choose from (Dark Raven Manor, Dead End Diner, Inn at Bates Motel + more), you might be left with some pretty haunted memories after visiting Haunt Manor!
There are so many things to do in Niagara Falls for Halloween. After all this frightful fun, rest your head at night at the Courtyard Marriott Niagara Falls hotel, we have a variety of packages to choose from!
