Niagara Falls Fishing
Many people don’t know this, but Niagara Falls is known for some great fishing!
The Niagara River is in fact listed as one of the Top Ten Places to Go Fishing in Ontario!
At 35 miles long, the Niagara River provides anglers with loads of great fishing spots. The area between the Devil’s Hole and the Niagara Bar offers great fishing for steelhead, salmon and sturgeon. In the lower area of the Niagara River, trout, walleye, bass and muskellunge can be readily caught.
Here’s a great clip of some enthusiastic fishermen patiently waiting for some Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) in the Whirlpool. We are big supporters of the ‘catch and release’ policy.
