If you haven’t experienced the Niagara Icewine Festival in the Winter, you are certainly missing out on some delicious fun. The fun starts this weekend. It’s not too late to experience some true Canadiana fun, because in Niagara we know how to do Winter right:

Xerox Icewine Gala – Fallsview Casino Resort – Friday, January 13th

The first gala started in 1995 and 22 years later this annual tradition continues at the Fallsview Casino Resort. At this event you’ll experience VQA’s largest icewine and wine tasting table featuring 35 Niagara wineries as well as the finest cuisine created by the Fallsview Casino’s top chefs. Every year is a different theme and this year, it’s Sugar and Spice and at this celebration Sugar and Spice comes with everything ice.

For three weekends in Niagara, there will be spectacular festivals celebrating everything icewine:

Twenty Valley Winter WineFest – January 13th – 15th

In true Canadiana spirit, get your warm boots and parka ready for a weekend of fabulous fun. This Festival does it right. Over 100 VQA wines and culinary delights from Niagara’s finest. There will also be fashion shows, the annual barrel rolling challenge and the chef’s one pot challenge.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Festival – January 20th – 22nd 

This weekend is full of tasty temptations.

Sparkle and Icewine Gala – Friday, January 20th – 8pm – 11pm at the Courthouse – Icewine and impeccable food pairings from some of Niagara’s most renowned Signature Chefs

Bravo Niagara presents Molly Johnson – Saturday, January 21st – 7:30pm – See the Courthouse transform into a one-of-kind jazz club

Outdoor Festival – January 21st (11am – 5pm), January 22nd (12pm – 5pm) – Embrace the Winter by seeing Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Queen Street turn into an Icewine and Culinary Winter Wonderland

Flash and Panache Icewine Cocktail Competition – January 21st – 9pm – 11pm

Icewine Festival at the Scotiabank Convention Centre – January 27th – 29th

Enjoy Icewine from 20+ participating wineries along with some culinary creations and live entertainment.

Discovery Pass

The best way to experience the Icewine Festival is by purchasing a discovery pass. It’s your ticket to experience three weekends of icewine bliss and eight wine and culinary pairings.
