Niagara New Vintage Festival – June 15th – 23rd
There is no better way to describe Niagara’s summer bounty, than to experience it first-hand. Travel along Niagara’s Wine Route, sipping and savouring some of the best flavours of the season.
Butler’s Barracks Concert Series – June 29th
Based on last year’s successful Tragically Hip performance at this historic national site, the Butler’s Barracks Concert Series are back for year two, with performances from City and Colour, Metric, Serena Ryder, Jimmy Eat World and Yukon Blond.
Shaw Festival - June - October
The Shaw Festival is a world-class theatre company inspired by the work of Bernard Shaw. The contemporary plays produced are from and about his era, which share Shaw’s provocative exploration of society and celebration of humanity. the 2013 PlayBill is now playing. Summer Concert Series at Jackson-Triggs - June - September 6th
Award-winning wines, gourmet food and brilliant Canadian talent come together to celebrate summer in Jackson Trigg’s open-air amphitheatre.
Farmer’s Market - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday All Year Round
The Farmer’s Market in St. Catharines is more than just fruits and vegetables, it’s about finding the most delicious breads, seafood, meat, preserves, spices, fresh cut flowers and jewellery in the area. Local artists also take the Market Stage on Thursday and Saturday afternoons during the summer. Enjoy everything from jazz to blues, oldies to modern day music.
PoultryFest Niagara – June 22nd
Located in downtown Smithville, this annual event features more than 60 vendors, an historic train station, giant craft show, a magnificent food court, outdoor entertainment, classic car and truck show, antique tractor pull and show, farmer’s market, poultry discovery centre and so much more.
The Laura Secord Commemorative Walk - June 22nd
On June 22nd (the Bicentennial anniversary) take a walk into history and retrace Laura Secord’s steps of her famous 32 km journey from the Secord Homestead in Niagara-on-the-Lake to DeCew House in Thorold, where she delivered her famous message.
