September Events in Niagara Falls
September is a great month. It’s back to school time, back to routine time, back to pumpkin spice latte time and back to warm sweater and jeans weather time.
September is also the month where the events are continuous in Niagara. The Niagara Region is still blossoming with fun things to do even this time of year. Here are our favourite “must-visit” events for this fabulous month we call September:
It’s Football Time and NFL Specials time at The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, located in the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Join us every Sunday, Monday and Thursday for our NFL Specials:
- Burger & a pint, Wings & a pint, Veg flatbread & a pint – $12.95
- Prime Rib Sliders & a pint, Nachos & a pint – $13.95

Come watch the game in our lounge. Plus we have local entertainment every Friday night from 8 – 11pm.

Do you love to cycle? Do you enjoy fine cuisine and wine? If you answered “yes” and “yes,” then this is the event for you. It’s a breathtaking 125km route starting in Niagara Falls, goes along the Niagara Parkway, through Niagara Wine Country, through the Thorold Tunnel and loops in the area of Short Hills Provincial Park. One of the best parts is that there will be Niagara food and wine served at various rest stops throughout the course. Not an avid cyclist? Come check out the free concert from Jim Cuddy on September 14th in Queen Victoria Park starting at 1pm.
Calling all lovers of crafts, jewellery, pottery, handbags, home decor, fashion accessories, designer clothing and of course wine. It’s a unique-aholic’s dream come true.
This annual event is one that the local community looks forward to every year. Picture this! Award-winning Niagara wines, gourmet Niagara cuisine, plus talented musicians all coming together in Montebello Park during the two weeks of the festival. Plus the Pied Piper Parade on September 21st and the Grande Parade on September 28th. There’s also a Mayor’s Invitational Grape Stomp on September 21st. Come and see who is given the ultimate bragging rights to the coveted Purple Foot title. All proceeds from the event will support the United Way of St. Catharines and District. Plus you can’t miss out on the 40+ participating wineries during this 16 day journey. Purchase a Discovery Pass, which is your ticket to enjoy exclusive wine and food pairing experiences.
